TheAT437C is a low-cost high-performance meter for microwave power measurement. It operates from 50 MHz to 18.0 GHz. It can measure power levels from 1uW to100mW. It is a portable instrument suitable for bench and field service applications.
The AT437 power meter uses the AT11801 power sensor. The high performance and accuracy is obtained by the Power Sensor by use of a chopper circuit with linear correction. The chopper uses a high-sensitivity, low noise MOSFET switch.The probe sends a modulated DC signal, equivalent to the RF power, to the meter for measurement.
The AT437C also has a preamplifier using a high-gain low noise hybrid transistor amplifier. An analog output 0-1V is included for data logging purposes and PC connectivity is via the standard RS232 interface.
